This Week in Star Citizen - October 19, 2026

Willkommen in der SC-Kantine, Reisender...

    Happy Monday, everyone!

There’s something about October that makes every strange noise aboard your ship a little more suspicious. That rattle in the cargo hold? Probably nothing. The lights flickering in the cockpit? Just a loose connection. Er, or a bug. Your co-pilot insisting they saw something move behind you? Okay, maybe it’s time to land.

We’ll leave the investigating to you. In the meantime, here’s what last week left behind.

The dead-stylish October Monthly Bundle crept out last Tuesday with a weathered black and gold finish and ethereal geometric etchings.

RSI Discovery Month is alive and kicking, and there’s still time to visit the RSI installations across Stanton. Take on Defense, Transport, and Collection missions and keep an eye on your mobiGlas as the rewards pile up. Everything you unlock, from ship paints and flight blades to armor, weapons, and tools, is yours to keep for good, no curse attached. Plus, completing the Constellation Rental Offer mission earns five days of access to the Constellation Mk V Centaurus. If you’d like a look at what’s waiting inside before you board, Behind the Ships and the Q&A have you covered.

The Twitch Drops are still lurking, too. Until October 27, watch any Drops-enabled Star Citizen stream for a total of four hours to unlock the Phoenix Insignia Display for free.

Don’t look behind you. Look ahead at what’s coming this week:

On Wednesday, we officially welcome the spooky season as the Day of the Vara festivities kick off, including a creepy contest, petrifying prizes, and other fearsome finds.

You’ll also see the latest Roadmap Update and its accompanying Roundup stumbling in behind them.

Friday brings our second episode of 10 From the Community, this time focusing on technology, with our Technical Directors stepping into the light. We’re also collecting questions for the next episode, all about FPS gameplay. Head to the Spectrum thread to submit yours and upvote the ones you’d most like to see answered!

The weekly RSI Newsletter also haunts your inbox that day, and if you’re not subscribed yet, you can sign up at any time through your account settings.

Whatever your plans this spooky season, we hope you’re getting into the spirit!

Fly low, fly fast, and keep the lights on...

There are wallpapers and then there are wallpapers. Mordvinov’s gallery of the new Constellation Mk V Centaurus is how you end up whispering “bonnie Connie” at your monitor at 2 am.
