    Hello everyone, xē'suelen nyahyan

Last week, the spotlight was firmly on the backbone of the ‘verse as Captains of Industry kicked off, inviting everyone to step into the boots of the haulers, miners, and salvagers who keep everything moving. With the event running through April 27, new pilots can Fly for Free through April 20 and explore a range of careers using a curated lineup of ships. From hauling cargo across vast distances to gathering the raw materials that fuel the economy, it’s a chance to jump in and try it all firsthand for yourself.

Supporting that journey, the MISC Hull B made its debut as the next step for aspiring cargo operators. Building on the legacy of the Hull series, it expands hauling with its signature external cargo spindles and tractor-assisted loading, making it a strong choice for those ready to scale up and take on bigger contracts. We’ve also published a new episode of Behind the Ships taking a closer look at the Hull B, along with a Q&A to cover any remaining questions.

Planetside, Greycat introduced the UTV, a compact, dependable off-roader built for versatility. Whether you are scouting ahead, transporting goods, or just exploring, it’s an easy, reliable way to get around.

Meanwhile, our latest Roadmap Update highlights what’s ahead, including Tactical Strike Groups at QV Extraction Stations, new hairstyles, missions, and additional visuals showcasing the evolving Alpha 4.8 cards. We’re also aiming to get the first Alpha 4.8 build into Evocati hands toward the end of the week, with more updates to follow on Spectrum.

Finally, we kicked off a special CLX Gaming PC Giveaway ahead of LVL UP EXPO. Make sure to check that out to see the variety of ways you can enter, and we hope to see many of you on the show floor and at Bar Citizen April 24-26!

Now, let’s take a look at what’s coming up this week:

Tuesday kicks things off with the April Monthly Bundle: Be ready to stand strong against the worst of the ‘verse with our armor, weapon, and ship paint bundle.

Then on Thursday, Star Citizen Live returns with a deep dive into Inventory and Crafting following the Alpha 4.7 update. Rick Porter (Design Director), Thorsten Leimann (Lead System Designer), and Declan Holmes (Senior Systems Designer I) will join us to discuss the design and systems behind these features, how they've evolved, and where they're headed. Got questions? Drop them in the thread on Spectrum before tuning in on April 16 at 15:00 UTC on Twitch.
