Hello everyone, xē'suelen nyahyan
What a week it's been! The Intergalactic Aerospace Expo (IAE) 2955 kept the momentum high as both the Kruger L-22 Alpha Wolf and Greycat MDC rolled out straight to flyable in the Persistent Universe.
If you missed Episode 3 of our Talkin' Shop podcast, now’s a great time to catch up — this one included a few surprise guests you won’t want to miss. We also hosted a two-hour Star Citizen Live with John Crewe, Ben Curtis, and Mark Gibson from the Vehicle Team, diving deep into ship design and answering your questions from Spectrum. Engineering, the Kruger Stingray, the RSI Galaxy, and plenty more were on the table.
On the development front, Alpha 4.5 is progressing well. Evocati are hands-on with the latest builds and providing invaluable feedback. We want to give a huge thanks for all your help this weekend! We’re planning a build update today, with an eye toward opening PTU to Wave 1 very soon.
Outside the game, we also teamed up with our friends at CLX to create a pair of custom Star Citizen PCs forming a single panoramic tribute to Nyx. One half channels the grit of Levski, the other the stark ferocity of the Vanduul. One system will call our Manchester studio home… and the other could be yours. Don’t miss the CLX Gaming PC Giveaway for all the details!
Now, let’s take a look at what’s coming up this week:
On Tuesday, we’ll publish the Subscriber Monthly Newsletter and Subscriber Comm-Link. There’s also still time to try out almost every ship and ground vehicle for free during IAE 2955's Finale. Simply stop by any kiosk on the Orison expo hall show floor.
This Wednesday, a new Roadmap Update arrives with additional details on Alpha 4.5. It’s also the final day of IAE 2955, so make sure to get your last flights in.
Following up on last week’s SCL, Inside Star Citizen returns on Thursday as Jared and Thorsten take a closer look at the upcoming release of Engineering and what’s changed since the last showcase. A brief server downtime will begin at 13:00 UTC, so keep an eye on RSI status page for updates.
On Friday, the latest weekly RSI Newsletter lands in your inbox. If you haven’t subscribed yet, you can enable it in your account settings.
a.thl'ē'kol, see you soon.
