Every year, Ship Showdown challenges the community to champion their favorite vehicle. With more ships, snubs, fighters, and ground-pounders than ever to choose from this year, 2955 is sure to be one for the record books! From massive freighters to agile hoverbikes and everything in-between, you made your voices heard and let us know which contenders should come out on top. We received countless incredible submissions, including screenshots, videos, Lego® creations, original songs, and even 3D-printed models. Thousands of entries were tallied to bring us our top 16, which battled it out in the first round of head-to-head bouts. Now, as we enter the ELITE EIGHT, all of our remaining contenders are now available to FLY FOR FREE! The final battle starts here, where your votes will ultimately crown this year's Ship Showdown champion.

ASGARD VS URSA MEDIVAC

Ship Showdown has long been known for delivering unexpected matchups, and this year is no exception. The first bout of the Elite Eight sees Anvil's newcomer vehicle-dropship, the Asgard, take on RSI's frontline medical support vehicle, the Ursa Medivac. Both of these contenders are recent additions to the 'verse, and despite their opposing purposes, each has its share of diehard fans. One ship delivers the pain, while its opponent was designed to soothe it. Your votes will determine who rises above, and who is forced to take their medicine. The battle for the Final Four begins here!
RAZOR VS GLADIATOR

The quarterfinals continue with two competitors bringing the heat as Mirai's blazing-fast Razor takes on a battle-hardened vet, the venerable Anvil Gladiator. During every year of Ship Showdown, the Gladiator's devoted fans have sought to elevate their champion to take the crown. Now that this bombastic brawler has advanced to the Elite Eight, the Gladiator won't be going down without a fight. Don't count out the Razor just yet, though, as this speedster has left countless foes in its wake, most recently passing the M50 to earn this spot against Anvil's fighter-bomber. Whether through explosive performance or an explosive payload, each of these competitors is capable of tearing up the track, and only your votes decide who takes the checkered flag.
ZEUS MK II VS VULTURE

Having bested the Corsair in a wild upset, a surging Zeus Mk II ES now takes on another Drake staple, the scrappy Vulture. Paying homage to the ship that first launched humanity to the stars in 2140, this modern incarnation of the RSI Zeus features a robust radar package and living quarters suited for exploration in the deepest reaches of the 'verse. Good thing, as we're headed into uncharted territory with this match. The Vulture is one of the most popular industrial ships and has already chewed up the workhorse MOLE. The winner here will advance to the semifinals, so make your vote count!
PROWLER UTILITY VS POLARIS

We close out the quarterfinals with a matchup no one saw coming: RSI's mighty Polaris trains its guns on an exotic challenger, Esperia's weirdly versatile Prowler Utility. After crushing the potent Starlancer TAC in the previous round, can anything stop the Polaris on its rise to victory? The Prowler Utility will need to outmaneuver its opponent to advance and deliver a ticket to the next round. No other alien ships remain in the competition, and things only get more fierce from here. May the best ship win, and we'll see you in the semis!

The Final Four of this year's Ship Showdown will be highlighted at the Intergalactic Aerospace Expo later this year with their brand new Best-In-Show Paints for 2955, as well as a manufacturer-themed poster!
Your votes will crown one ship the ultimate winner, joining the ranks of other legendary champions of the biggest annual space smackdown in the 'verse. The winner will also receive an in-game championship pennant commemorating their 2955 win.
